The traditional buildings at Kurazukuri Old Town make up Kawagoe’s iconic scenery and are a symbol of Kawagoe. There, you can visit sites where traditional handicrafts are made.
Visiting Kawagoe’s historical craft shops will help you develop a deeper appreciation of the city’s historical sites. Please enjoy the craftsmanship of Kawagoe!

11,000 yen for a 30-min rickshaw ride tour in town (Tax included)
* Up to 2 guests can ride the rickshaw. Parties of 3 must hire two rickshaws, which will double the fee (11,000 yen x 2).

Meeting spot and time
Meet by 8:30AM at either the Hon-Kawagoe Station West Exit traffic circle (for guests arriving on the Seibu Shinjuku line) or at Westa Kawagoe (for guests arriving on the JR or Tobu Tojo lines) * Please make sure to arrive on time.
Notes
・Your original name stamp will be carved by the Insho master and shipped via international courier service upon completion. (Approx. 1 month)
・The ivory used for the original name stamp is certified under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the Act on Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
It is an officially imported product with certification stickers of approval from the Government of Japan.
・Since most of the tour will be spent out-of-doors in kimono, in winter, we recommend that guests have warm inner wear.
・Please fasten your seatbelt when riding in a car or taxi.
・Parts of the itinerary are subject to change due to weather, traffic, or emergencies.
・If a customer cancels the tour due to their own circumstances after the Travel Agreement is concluded, the cancellation fee described in the Terms and Conditions of the Travel Contract shall apply.
・No smoking inside the car
・An English speaking guide will accompany guests on the tour.
